Size breakdown
External Dimensions
Length: 17 inches (432mm)
The Form measures 17 inches across — long enough to fit the longest legal pickleball paddle (the maximum USAPA paddle length is 17 inches) with room to spare. Both the Fjara Stillvann (16.5") and the Fjara Forste (16") fit comfortably with the zipper closing fully.
Width: 9 inches (229mm)
The 9-inch width accommodates the widest paddle face (8 inches for widebody paddles like the Forste) plus a half-inch of buffer space for easy insertion. The width allows two paddles stacked face-to-face, though this configuration is snug.
Depth: 2.5 inches (64mm)
The 2.5-inch depth is intentional. Deep enough to fit two paddles plus a thin layer of accessories (overgrips, finishing tape, a compact towel). Shallow enough to maintain the slim profile that distinguishes the Form from a full duffel bag.
Capacity
Designed for 1-2 paddles plus minor accessories
The main compartment fits:
- 1 paddle with full padding around it (recommended for protection)
- OR 2 paddles stacked face-to-face (more efficient packing)
- PLUS a thin pouch of overgrips, wristbands, and grip tape
- PLUS a single towel (folded thin) or a t-shirt (rolled)
The Form is not built to carry a water bottle, change of clothes, or significant gear. If you carry more than a paddle and small accessories, the Tur duffel is the appropriate Fjara product for your kit.
Front exterior pocket
A single zippered front pocket holds:
- Phone, wallet, keys (one of these or all three)
- 1-2 tubes of pickleballs (Fjara Spil)
- Small accessory pouch
The front pocket is designed for items you want quick access to without unzipping the main compartment. Most customers use it for their phone and keys during their walk to and from the court.
Materials & Construction
4mm neoprene main body
The Form is constructed from 4mm-thick neoprene — the same material used in premium laptop sleeves and high-end paddle covers from competitive brands. Neoprene provides:
- Shock absorption from drops and bumps
- Light water resistance for unexpected weather
- Soft surface that doesn't scratch paddle faces
- Flexible structure that accommodates slight paddle thickness variations
4mm thickness is the sweet spot for paddle protection — thinner neoprene (2-3mm) feels flimsy and doesn't absorb impact, while thicker neoprene (5-6mm) adds bulk without proportional protection benefit.
Soft brushed polyester lining
The interior is lined with soft brushed polyester that prevents scratching the paddle face during insertion or removal. The lining color matches the exterior colorway for visual coherence.
Reinforced zipper construction
The main compartment uses a two-way YKK-equivalent zipper running across the top edge. The two-way design lets you open from either end, which matters when you're trying to extract a paddle in a cramped space (car trunk, locker room bench, courtside).
The zipper closure features reinforced fabric tabs at each end that bear the stress of repeated zipping, preventing the seam failure that ends most cheap paddle covers within a season.
Handle & Strap
Webbed nylon top handle
The Form features a single top handle in webbed nylon — long enough to grip comfortably, short enough that the bag doesn't drag on the ground when carried. Handle drop length: approximately 4 inches.
The handle attaches via reinforced double-stitched seams rather than D-ring hardware, which holds up better to repeated heavy loading.
Removable shoulder strap
The Form ships with a detachable shoulder strap that attaches via brass-tone snap hooks on both ends. The strap is adjustable from approximately 28 to 45 inches in length, accommodating most adult heights for cross-body or single-shoulder carry.
The strap is unpadded — appropriate for the Form's weight (under 3 lbs even when fully loaded). For heavier loading, the Tur duffel features a padded shoulder strap.
Strap removability
The strap detaches completely for storage, packing in a larger bag, or when you prefer carrying by the top handle only. Most customers leave the strap attached for daily use and remove it only when storing the Form inside the Tur or other larger bags.
Colorways
The Form is available in three colorways:
Onyx (matte black)
The most popular Form colorway. Pairs with all Fjara paddles and most pickleball gear. The default choice for players who want a paddle carrier that doesn't draw attention.
Bone (warm white)
The premium aesthetic option. Pairs with Frost colorway paddles and Sand-toned Tur bags. Choose Bone if visual coherence with the rest of your light-toned kit matters.
Sage (dusty green)
The accent colorway. Pairs with neutral kits and adds a single point of color to an otherwise restrained gear setup. Choose Sage if you want your paddle carrier to be the visual highlight of your kit.
All three colorways use identical materials, identical construction, and identical capacity. The choice between them is aesthetic, not functional.
Care Instructions
Day-to-day cleaning
Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. For surface stains, dab gently with mild soap and rinse thoroughly. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or solvent-based cleaners — these damage the neoprene's flexible structure.
Spot stains on Bone or Sage colorways
Lighter colors show stains more readily. Address stains within 24 hours when possible. Use a damp cloth with diluted dish soap, dab gently rather than rubbing, and air dry completely.
Storage
Store the Form empty when not in use, ideally hanging or laid flat. Long-term storage with a paddle inside compresses the neoprene structure and creates indentations that may be visible after extended periods.
Avoid storing in direct sunlight for extended periods — UV exposure gradually fades neoprene color, particularly on Bone and Sage variants.
Built For
The Form is the right paddle carrier for:
- Players who carry a paddle plus a few accessories — and not much more
- Drivers and rideshare commuters who don't want a full bag taking up trunk space
- Players who store gear in lockers or limited-space gym bags
- Players who pair multiple Fjara products and want visual coherence between paddle and carrier
- Anyone who's tried storing a paddle in a generic gym bag and watched it scratch against zippers and water bottles
Not Built For
The Form is designed for paddle-focused carry. If you need to bring water, towels, change of clothes, and tournament essentials, the Tur duffel is the appropriate product.
If you only need basic protection without a strap and don't carry the paddle to and from the court regularly, the Hud paddle cover is the smaller, simpler option at less than half the price.
Form vs Tur vs Hud
The Form sits between the Hud and the Tur in the Fjara carrying lineup. Here's how the three products compare:

Choose the Hud if:
- You want basic paddle protection inside a larger bag
- You don't need to carry the paddle independently
Choose the Form if:
- You commute to the court with paddle + minor accessories
- You want visual coherence and brand consistency without the full duffel
Choose the Tur if:
- You carry full kit (paddle, balls, water, towel, change of clothes)
- You travel for tournaments or use the bag for multiple purposes
Sizing Notes for Specific Use Cases
For carry-on travel
The Form fits inside most personal item allowances (typically 18" × 14" × 8") and easily inside any carry-on bag. Many players slip the Form inside their Tur or roller suitcase for tournament travel.
For locker storage
The Form fits inside any standard gym locker. The slim 2.5-inch depth means it can hang on a hook or lay flat on a locker shelf without occupying significant space.
For car commute
The Form fits in the door pocket of most cars (specifically the rear-door pockets on most sedans and SUVs). It also fits flat on the back seat without taking up passenger space.
For paired carry with a Tur
The Form fits inside the Tur main compartment, which lets you carry both products simultaneously. Some customers use this configuration: Form holds the paddle and grips, Tur holds clothes and water, all in one trip.
How the Form Compares (Industry Context)
Most pickleball paddle carriers fall into one of three categories:
Basic paddle covers ($15-25)
Single-paddle covers, no strap, often poly-blend materials. Examples: generic Amazon covers, basic brand-name covers. Best for protection inside a larger bag.
Paddle carriers ($40-70) ← The Form
Dedicated carriers with strap, holds 1-2 paddles plus minor accessories. Examples: Fjara Form, Selkirk Day Bag, JOOLA Paddle Cover. Best for daily court commute.
Tour duffels ($120-200)
Full-capacity bags for paddles plus travel essentials. Examples: Fjara Tur, CRBN Pro Team Duffel. Best for tournament weekends and travel.
The Form's $59 price point is intentional. It sits at the upper end of the carrier category, reflecting the premium 4mm neoprene construction and reinforced zipper hardware. Cheaper carriers cut corners on materials. The Form is built to outlast standard carriers by 2-3 seasons of regular use.
Product details
Form - Performance Tee
Form - the shape of the thing it carries. The Fjara Form is a paddle-shaped shoulder carrier built for the daily commute between car and court, locker and league night, gym bag and bench.
It holds one paddle, two balls, your keys, and your phone. Nothing else. The diving fabric construction is water-resistant, perforated for breathability, and contoured to the shape of the paddle it protects. The diagonal shoulder strap keeps your hands free for coffee, court keys, or the gym bag you're carrying in the other hand.
Built for players who don't need a full bag every time they play.
The Fjara Form is constructed from premium neoprene-style diving fabric - the same material used in technical wetsuits and high-end tech sleeves. The perforated face provides ventilation that keeps your paddle dry between sessions. The interior is lined with soft brushed polyester to protect the paddle face from scratches.
The diagonal shoulder strap is reinforced at both attachment points with double-stitched webbing. Adjustable length fits any frame from short to tall. A side zip pocket holds keys, a phone, two balls, or a small wallet. The carrier itself folds flat when not in use.

Returns & Exchange
Returns
Return window: 30 days from delivery
If your purchase isn't right, send it back within 30 days for a full refund. No restocking fees. No questions about why.
Condition requirements
Returned items should arrive in the same condition they were sent - unused or only lightly tested. Paddles that have been used in competitive play, show signs of impact wear, or have been modified (custom grip, edge guard alterations) are not eligible for return.
Light test use is fine. We understand pickleball paddles need to be felt before they're committed to. A few hits in your driveway or local court won't disqualify a return.
How to return
Email us at info@fjarasports.com with your order number and a brief note about the return. We'll send you a prepaid return label within one business day. Drop the package at any USPS, UPS, or FedEx location - whichever is convenient.
Return shipping is free for U.S. customers. We cover the cost of getting the product back to us.
Refunds
Refund processing: Within 10 business days
Once we receive your return, we inspect the item and process the refund within 10 business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method - Visa to Visa, PayPal to PayPal, Klarna to Klarna.
Most refunds appear in your account within 3–7 business days after we process them, though some banks take longer to post pending transactions.
Partial refunds
If a returned item shows wear beyond light test use, we may issue a partial refund proportional to the condition. We'll always email you before issuing a partial refund — never as a surprise.
Exchanges
We don't process exchanges automatically. If you want a different paddle, colorway, or size, return the original for a full refund and place a new order separately. This is faster than a traditional exchange and gives you the chance to use any current promotions on the new order.
Order Tracking
Every order receives a tracking number by email the moment your package leaves the warehouse. Click the link in the email to follow your package across the country in real time.
If your tracking hasn't updated in more than 3 business days, email us. Carrier delays happen, but extended silence usually means something needs attention. We'll investigate and get you answers.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged
Take photos of the packaging and the product before unpacking further. Email us at info@fjarasports.com with the photos and your order number. We'll arrange a replacement immediately — no need to return the damaged item first.
If your package goes missing in transit
If tracking shows "delivered" but your package isn't at your door, check with neighbors, building managers, and household members first. Most "missing" packages turn up within 24 hours.
If 48 hours pass and the package hasn't appeared, email us. We'll file a carrier claim and either replace your order or issue a full refund. You won't be left in the middle of a carrier dispute.

FAQ
Do I need to break in my new paddle?
Not in the traditional sense. Thermoformed carbon paddles don't soften or change feel the way some older constructions did. What changes is you.
The first few sessions with a new paddle are about your hands learning the sweet spot, the swing weight, the response off the face. Most players feel locked in by session three or four. Hit drills, not games, for the first hour. Dink rallies are the fastest way to learn a paddle — you'll feel exactly where the face is most consistent.
The paddle you take home today is the paddle you'll have in a year. It's already broken in. You're the variable.
What is thermoformed construction?
A standard pickleball paddle is built by gluing the face, core, and edge together as separate pieces. A thermoformed paddle is built as a single sealed unit — the carbon face wraps around the polypropylene core under heat and pressure, then the edge is fused rather than glued.
The result is a stiffer, more responsive paddle with a larger sweet spot and a consistent feel from center to edge. You'll feel it most on off-center hits — where a glued paddle goes dead, a thermoformed one still has life.
It's the construction the top brands have moved to over the past two years. It's the only construction we build.
How much spin can the T700 carbon face generate?
A lot. T700 raw carbon is the gritty, textured surface you see on every spin-first paddle on tour right now. Tested on a standard spin meter, our Stillvann face produces 2,200–2,400 RPM on a clean topspin drive — well within tournament-paddle range and noticeably above molded fiberglass faces.
That said, spin is a player skill before it's a paddle spec. The face gives you the friction. The contact angle and follow-through do the rest. A good carbon face won't make a flat hitter spin the ball. It will reward the player who already knows how.
How do I clean and care for my paddle?
Wipe the face with a damp microfiber cloth after long sessions — sweat, sunscreen, and ball residue dull the carbon texture and reduce spin over time. For deeper cleaning, a paddle eraser or melamine sponge restores the gritty surface.
Don't use solvents, alcohol, or abrasive scrubbers. Don't leave the paddle in a hot car — heat softens the polypropylene core and can warp the face. Store it in a paddle cover or bag, not loose where zippers and edges can chip the bevel.
Re-grip when the wrap loses tack. Most players replace overgrips every three to six months depending on play frequency.
What does sustainability mean to Fjara?
Mostly, it means we don't replace the catalog every six months. The biggest environmental cost of pickleball gear isn't the materials — it's the cycle. New paddle every season, new bag every year, last year's gear in a landfill.
We design products to outlast that cycle. The Stillvann you buy this year is the same paddle we'll be selling in three years. Same spec, same shape, same name. When something needs to be improved, we improve it. We don't relaunch it.
Where it makes sense we use recycled materials — our bags are built from 600D recycled polyester, and our packaging is unbleached cardboard with no plastic inserts. But the real work is in the longevity. A paddle you keep is worth more than any spec sheet.
What does the Fjara warranty cover?
Twelve months from purchase, against manufacturing defects — delamination of the face, core failure, edge separation, or any structural issue not caused by impact damage. If your paddle fails under normal play within the first year, we replace it.
What's not covered: cracks from paddle clashes, edge chips from court contact, grip wear, or surface dulling from heavy use. These are normal wear-and-tear on any paddle and aren't unique to Fjara.
To file a claim, email us at info@fjarasports.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We respond within one business day and ship replacements within three.
